Refunds & Cancellations
The short version: we refund when the activity doesn't happen. Here's the whole of it.
Updated 1 Jan 2026
When We Refund
We keep this simple: we only issue refunds when an activity does not happen. That includes:
- the organiser or Hasya cancels the event,
- the activity cannot take place due to an unexpected issue,
- or something on our side prevents it from running.
When We Don't
If the event runs as scheduled, even if you're unable to attend, we cannot offer a refund.
We understand that personal emergencies happen, and we truly empathise. But in a large community, emergencies occur all the time. If we refunded every one of them, the system would quickly become unsustainable for organisers, venues, and the platform itself. Even rare situations, when multiplied across many people, become frequent.
Students
If you are a student, you may write to us explaining your situation. We may consider a one-time exception, but this is not guaranteed and depends on the circumstances.
Transfer Your Ticket
Tickets are transferable. If you can't attend, you're welcome to send someone else in your place (as long as the organiser allows it).
How Long It Takes
Approved refunds (only when an event doesn't happen) are processed within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Before You Contact Us
Please check if it has been 5–7 days since you last received communication about a refund being due to you, and review your bank statement.
Refunds will not directly reflect in GPay — check the bank account behind it.
